City cops are examining a suspicious death that happened in main Edmonton Saturday night.

Shortly after 6 p.m., officers reacted to a report of an attack with a weapon in the location of 104 Avenue and 95 Street.

When authorities showed up, they found a male with major injuries. Officers offered first-aid to the male, however he passed away at the scene.

Investigators are asking anybody who might have experienced an attack around 6 p.m. to get in touch with cops.

If verified as a murder, it would be Edmonton’s 27 th of 2021.
