Amanda Nunes (21-5-0) vs. Julianna Peña (12-4-0)

Facing off for the second time, Amanda Nunes and Julianna Peña will be competing for the Women’s Bantamweight Title as the main event. It was only less than eight months ago when Peña shocked the world at UFC 269 by defeating Nunes, who is widely considered the G.W.O.A.T (greatest woman of all time) in the UFC. Fans have been eager to see if Nunes can take back her title and reassert her run of dominance that’s lasted for the past seven years. It will be a moment of truth if Nunes was truly off her A-game at UFC 269, or if Peña is simply as good as she’s appeared to be. All-in-all, this fight will decide what the landscape of women’s UFC will look like going forward.

Brandon Moreno (19-6-2) vs. Kai Kara France (24-9-0)

For the co-feature, a Flyweight Interim Title bout will be taking place between Brandon Moreno and Kai Kara France. This fight is technically a rematch, as Moreno beat Kara-France in December 2019 at UFC 245. Hailing from New Zealand, Kara-France has gone 4-1 since his loss to Moreno, and has earned post-fight bonus awards in three of the past four matches—an incentive the UFC puts on that rewards fighters for exciting finishes and spectacular fighting.

Derrick Lewis (26-9-0) and Sergei Pavlovich (15-1-0)

And while UFC 277 is filled with tons of strong matchups, the third most highly anticipated fight will be the heavyweight bout between Derrick Lewis and Sergei Pavlovich. Born in New Orleans, Lewis has been a top American favorite among fans in the UFC thanks to his powerful fighting style and high KO/TKO percentage (81%). However the Russian-born Pavlovich is no light-striker either, as he carries a well matched 80% KO/TKO rate in the professional fights he’s won.

UFC 277 Betting Odds: Peña vs. Nunes, Moreno vs. Kara-France, and More

The two most interesting betting lines to follow for the fight are Peña vs. Nunes and Lewis vs. Pavlovich. It’s worth noting the betting odds we are reporting comes directly from DraftKings, which is the UFC’s “Official Sportsbook.” For Peña vs. Nunes, the betting odds are hovering around +230 for Peña and -275 for Nunes. This means bookmakers are favoring Nunes heavily, but considering what the previous odds were at UFC 269 (Peña was around +700 to win and Nunes -1100), this is a significant sign of respect to Peña’s ability to win again.

DEAL: UFC 277 PPV + ONE YEAR OF ESPN+ FOR 30% OFF

Moreno vs Kara-France is sitting at Moreno -205 and Kara-France +175. It’s a good fight to consider betting on, but with Moreno having so much dominance in the division the payout on both sides isn’t as lucrative as some of the others. If you’re looking for more balanced odds, Lewis vs. Pavlovich is the way to go with Lewis currently at +105 and Pavlovich -125. Deemed the favorite, Pavlovich has a slight advantage here due to his hot streak but this match is essentially being seen as one that could go either way.

Here are the rest of the current betting odds for the main card of UFC 277 (only on ESPN+) below.

  • Julianna Pena (+230) vs. Amanda Nunes (-275)
  • Brandon Moreno (-205) vs. Kai Kara-France (+175)
  • Derrick Lewis (+105) vs. Sergei Pavlovich (-125)
  • Alexandre Pantoja (-165) vs. Alex Perez (+140)
  • Magomed Ankalaev (-475) vs. Anthony Smith (+380)
